There really are a host of reasons why is is a good idea to participate in the tax forums here on

  • Learning

  • Sharing Knowledge

  • Getting a Second opinion

  • Personal Development

The CIOT (Chartered Institute of Taxation) referred to structured CDP including (but not limited to of course):

"Writing books, articles and reviews".

So participating in discussion forums is a good way to network, share information, ask and answer questions while in the meantime also gaining CPD along the way.

So we think it is a cracking way.

Plus via your user account to can easily see the postings you have made over time making then recording your CDP even easier.

So perhaps it is better to say why on earth not!
