Hi All

Have a computer issue if anyone can help as can't find a fix for this.

I upgraded to Windows 10 recently and had a problem with Oulook which I resolved as posted in this forum with the solution posted by Tax Support(see other forum post about problems upgrading to Windows 10 then not being able to send or receive emails which I resolved with the same fix as posted by tax support.

However no I can send and receive emails but can't delete emails from within Outlook 2016 after upgrading Outlook from the 2013 version.

Scratching my head on this one.

What do I have to do to fix the problem that I cannot delete emails since upgrading to Outlook 2016?

Any help appreciated

Hi Mike

Yep and we had this problem too and could not delete emails after upgrading to Outlook 2016.

We were using IMAP as opposed to POP and found this link to Windows IT Pro post about Outlook 2016 fixing the IMAP Bug where you can't delete emails fixed the problem a treat.

Hope that works for you too.

Everything else in the Windows 10 upgrade worked fine for us except the "send and receive" emails not working which we fixed with sfc /scannow and the problem deleting email which we fixed in the email setting "advanced" tab as described in the post on Windows IT Pro.

Now everything seems to be working fine for us.

Bugs eh annoying things!
